1. To maintain an awareness amongst employees of the importance of their activities upon the environment. Responsibilities and accountability will be clearly defined within the management structure and appropriate training and instruction will be given.

3. To develop and promote quality products which will have a minimal impact upon the environment in manufacture, use and ultimate disposal.

4. Waste which is produced on site and which cannot be utilised for other applications will be disposed of responsibly with due regard to all environmental and legal considerations.

5. To work closely and co-operate with statutory authorities to meet all applicable legislation and improve operating procedures by monitoring and internal auditing to ensure compliance.

6. To take due regards to energy conservation in all aspects of the business.

7. Encourage suppliers to establish and implement for themselves environmental policies which are in accord with our policy.

8. Minimise packaging to avoid an unacceptable effect on the environment by its ultimate disposal.

9. To maintain a high standard of safety within the factory.
