Quality, we believe, is only obtained through partnership, whether it is with our suppliers, our employees, or our customers. Only by working closely together, can we ensure that the agreed quality is achieved and maintained.
Being a quality assured company, accredited to BS EN ISO 9001 - 2004, there is a requirement that our quality control procedures, together with our operative training, is subject to external examination by independent assessors.

By sourcing raw material direct from abattoirs, we can ensure that we obtain a consistent product.

Internal traceability is of utmost importance.  Every hide carries a unique code which gives complete traceability identifying the process and origin of the raw material.

Every batch is thoroughly tested prior to being approved for dispatch. This analysis forms an essential part of our quality control. Quality records are held on a database for up to five years and are available to our customers for inspection.

Specific tests for the automotive industry are carried out as part of our normal test procedures. Appropriate fogging test certificates are issued when required. Lang wet blue is guaranteed to be PCP-free.
